Rasmus Zwicki (b.1979)

Studied composition and music theory at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music (2000 – 2006). Works include electronic music, music happenings, choir music, chamber music, orchestral music, opera, music theatre, film music, music for radio and music for children.

Commissions from the Danish Radio, SNYK, Den Fynske Opera, the Scandinavian Guitar Duo, Carl Nielsen Masterclass for String Orchestra and Ensemble Fyn among others. Member of the Danish Composers' Society. Grants from V. Makwarth & Hustru Veronika Makwarth’s Musiklegat 2005 and DaNY Arts (The Danish Arts Council). Awarded a three-year working scholarship 2008 - 2010 by the Danish Arts Foundation.

Teacher of composition and music theory at The Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts, Southern Denmark (2009 - present).
